Today we went to the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge where I made lots of friends.
This is Mr. Racoon.
(He wanted to shake my hand; but, Mom said never to touch wild animals.)
I had to be careful around Mrs. Muskrat.
(I think she was falling in love with me.)
My friends in the hive were all a-buzz about my visit, too.

We also were able to watch the 'eagle cam' with two babies in their nest.
(While we were there, their mama brought them a fish to eat!)
It was in the low 60's, so it was a perfect day for being outdoors!
