We went to a parade!
Dad gave me the best seat in the house by letting me sit on his shoulders.
I could see everything!
The big ladder fire truck was one of my favorite things.
(I also liked the clowns and the bands.)
This sparkler was all the fireworks I could handle.
(My bedtime is way before dark!)
Maybe next year I will stay up to see the big show!

That, young man looks like the best spot to watch a parade from! Glad Dad's shoulders were so helpful. Just think, next year you'll likely get to stay up for the fireworks too. They are pretty neat!!!
