The Fine Art of Frankfurter Eating

First you have to slice it nice and even,
then you carefully poke a hole into it
and put it on your thumb!
After dipping it into some ketchup, you gobble it up!
YUMMY!

Super-Hip!

Dad and I put on our super-hip shades and hat.
(Mom says I remind her of her uncle when I wear this hat.)
Wearing my pirate pants (note the super-hip fringe), I rode off to adventure.
When I encountered a mountain lion, I gave him my super-hip stare.
This is me giving a super-hip shout out to all my peeps!

The Amusement Park

I have one right in my own house!

It's called... Daddy!

Here I am enjoying the 'Upside-down Tickle Experience'.

The 'Swinging Blanket' ride always leaves me begging for "More!".
A spin on 'The Bean Bag of Death' isn't scary at all!
I gotta run, it's time for 'Laundry Basket Bumper Cars'!

Little Builder Day

Yesterday, a present arrived from my Grandma and Grandpa Aasen!
(Thank you!)
I let Dad help put together my new workbench.
I love my new tools! Now I can be 'handy', just like my Dad!

Stickers

I learned how to peel them off,
stick them onto the paper and...
my nose!

It's Time For A Hoedown!

On Saturday we went to the Old Time Fiddlers and Bear Festival in Cannonville. While I was a little confused because there were no bears, it turned out to be a fun time.
My friend Audrey and I danced to the Fiddlers. When we realized that people were also looking at us, we thought it would be a good time to have a dance-off.
Although I had a lot of fiddletastic moves up my short sleeves, I was totally out-danced!
We took a break and just clapped along.
Then, I waved to my adoring fans!
I ended my day with a ride on the tire swing with my friend Sierra.
In conclusion I would like to say... small town festivals are quite fun!

The Bug Hunter!

Sometimes, in the mornings, we go out bug hunting.
No matter how many bugs we catch and release, I always say that I saw...
"Two Bugs!"
(There are five pill bugs in my necklace.)
Who knows, maybe someday I will be an entomologist!

Exploring A Little Arizona

We took a road trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
On the way we stopped to visit the animals at the Best Friends animal sanctuary.
I had lots of fun playing with the kitties.

"Hello, Grand Canyon!"

The North Rim is about 1,000 feet higher than the South Rim, so it is much cooler.

Only 10% of visitors to the Grand Canyon visit the North Rim.

Mom and I agreed that it was really AWESOME!
We visited the ruins of the Wallhalla Glades Pueblo.

If you get a chance, you should definitely visit!

One interesting story is about 'Brighty'. He was a burro that brought water to the early visitors here. He let little kids like me ride on him, even though he was mostly a wild burro.

Legend has it that if you rub his nose, you will be blessed with good luck.
I rubbed really hard, so maybe I will win the lottery some day!

We also visited Navajo Bridge in Arizona. Actually, it is two identical bridges. One was built in the 1920's and one in the 1990's. (The 1920's bridge couldn't hold the weight of modern vehicles.)

The California Condors nest near the bridge. No matter how hard I searched, I just couldn't see any!

It is a really beautiful spot on the border of the Navajo Nation. The bridge goes right over marble canyon.
I had alot of fun!
YeeHa!

The Lovers, The Dreamers and Me!

On July 8th I saw my very first rainbow.

Snip To It!

Yesterday I got my first salon haircut.
I asked my stylist to be sure to take a little off the back.
(I'm not a big fan of mullets!)
I sat in the big pump-up chair all by myself.
I think that Courtney did a fabulous job.
Mom and Dad say that I look just like a little man now.

CEO of Maxon Industries

Hello boys and girls, ladies and gentleman, cats and dogs, and distinguished buddies. I am happy to be able to address you today, on my 17 month birthday. What follows will be a brief summary of my stats and skills.
***
***
I am currently 33.25 inches tall and weigh in at 28 lbs.
***
I have 11 teeth now, but still haven't gotten my fourth bottom front tooth. (I have four molars.)
***
While addressing the public, I am using lots of words like...
"Zucchini"
"Screwdriver"
"Money" and
almost anything you ask me to say.
***
I am also frequently putting together two word sentences like...
"Help Daddy"
"Feed 'Squito"
"Two Buddies" and
"Nice Baby!"
***
I dine on all sorts of great new foods like..
Salsa, Tomatoes, Olives and Pizza - with no cheese :(
(All of which I can say now.)
I have even tried raw onions!
"Ewww!"
***
I am able to run really, really fast.
***
I relax from my hectic days by swimming in my new pool.
***
I am quite industrious with my blocks and
I stack them until they are so tall that I can't reach the top!
***
Best of all, I give really, really great squeezes.
(At least that's what Mom and Dad tell me. I will let you be the judge next time I see you!)
