Peek-A-Boo!

I think my Mom and Dad are a little crazy. They took me to a gulch called 'Peek-a-Boo'. It is a very narrow slot canyon in the Grand Staircase. We had to scramble a 15' wall to get in and some places in the gulch were only 18" wide. It's a good thing I lost my milk gut!
We met a couple guys who helped us up the wall. They hooked a rope onto my backpack and hoisted me up. It was really fun! When we caught up with them further in, they took our picture.
When we got out, we took a break because I was a little thirsty. Mom thought that this chunk of slick rock was a great place for a scenic meal. I hope that you can come see this place sometime!

WOW! It seems like every time I turn around you’re always on a journey! You are fortunate to have parents that like to take you on adventures! It's so neat... just think Max, when your dad was small, he lived in Utah too! Up by the dinosaurs! Down in gulch named Vernal. Maybe some day he'll take you there, and you can shop at Yellow Front!! Love and Kisses, and all God's blessings, on our sweet little angel.

P.S. Honey and Spanky Jane can't wait to give you kisses too!

Hey there to the Aasen's. You guys are sure busy taking in all the sights. I'm so glad you like to share them with us back here in the slightly cooler regions of the midwest. Today we had sunshine for the first time in over 2 weeks. Maybe it's 'cuz Gramma W. came back here. We are sure glad they have both returned.
hugs,
Pegi
