My mean ol' Mom snuck in my room and took this picture while I was sleeping. It was a little dark so she had to use the flash. It's a good thing that I am a heavy sleeper! My Dad stopped at IKEA while he was in Minneapolis on friday. He had a 2 hour lay over at the airport so he snuck over there to buy me this new pillow and comforter. I have to admit that I have been sleeping rather good! Thanks Dad!

Easy Rider

I love to give my buddies rides on my trike.

As you can see, I can almost reach the pedals.

My Tropical Adventure

Now, you might imagine that a town with a population of less than 500 might be a bit, well, boring. But, if you look at things right, you can have a really great time.

There is a little park in the middle of town. I had a great time swinging with Mom.

Dad helped me on the slide. Wee!!!

I watched some older boys playing on the slides. I can't wait till I'm big like them and I can do it on my own!

For now, I will settle for putting rocks on the slides.

We also went to our friend's house. She raises bunnies and let me look at them.

She also let me and Dad bounce on her trampoline!

I made a wish, and blew away the seeds of this dandelion.

In The Closet

Mom and Dad turned our front coat closet into a playroom.

It's nice to know that my toys have a home!

Wrangler

It was the great centipede invasion of 2006.
The varmits had all but taken over the Southwest.
While their colors made them easy to spot in the desert landscape, they proved to be quite wiley. (And fast!)

Now, truth be told, I had never wrangled a 'pede before. So, when the local townfolk came a-callin' and pleadin' for help, I was a little hesitant. But, since I'm a sucker for folks in distress, I took on the task of riddin' the west of the centipedes and all their wrigglin' legs.

After a few initial intanglements, I quickly discovered the key to takin' down the critters was a solid grip on their antennae. Rendered virtually helpless by my vice-like grip, I soon had all of those centipedes corralled. They were no longer a threat to our peaceful way of life.

The locals were mighty grateful, and offered to name a local street after me. I declined, tipped my hat, and told them...

"It's all in a day's work!"

"Owie!"

I had the occasion to use one of my new words yesterday.

I literally fell flat on my face.

Mom was more than a little freaked out.

I am happy to report that I woke up today feeling pretty good!

La! La! La!

We are having some record high temperatures here in Utah. It's hot!

We are staying cool inside in the air conditioning. No hiking today! Instead, we plan to spend the day singing and dancing and running and eating frozen juice pops and playing with toys and coloring pictures and snuggling and just being silly!
