Season Opener!

I'm #10 on the Hillside Landscaping T-Ball Team.
(My dad is the assistant coach.)
We started the game in the outfield.
(We were the 'home' team.)
I worked on fielding the ball.
I also worked on my throwing.
I got a good hit my first time at bat.
Coach Tracy gave me a little pep talk while I waited on second base.
Then, I was on my way all the way to home base.
(Where is home base?)
I almost missed it!
One of my favorite things was saying "Good Game!" to all of the other kids!
(When you play T-Ball, everybody wins!!!)
I think I might be the luckiest guy, though, because I get to be on the same team as my good friend, Amber.
And I have the best coach in the world!
(I love you, Dad!!)

Ho, Hum.

We've had a lot of rainy days lately.
At least I've got a great umbrella!

Z-O-O spells...

FUN!!!
We took Grandma to the zoo in Baltimore.
We had a really fun time! (It is one of the oldest zoos in the United States.)
We saw a lot of great animals; including polar bears,
monkeys and chimps,
and goats!
(Lots of other friends, too!)
We also rode on some rides, like this flying banana.
(I got to control it and make it go up and down - I am a great fruit pilot!)
Our favorite part, was feeding the giraffes.
(If you don't already know, my Grandma LOVES giraffes. A lot.)
She helped me to hold some browse up for him to eat.
I think he must like it, because he seemed to be saying 'Thank you'!
In conclusion, we cubs had a roarin' good time!

Hoppy Easter Everybunny!

We have been having a great time celebrating the holiday weekend!
Grandma W. and I worked hard decorating our eggs.
(We each wrote our names on one!)
Then we colored them, and a my fingers, too!
They turned out pretty good, didn't they?
I liked mine the best!
(Do you like my shirt?)
Later in the morning, we had to search for our baskets.
(Mine was a little hard to find!)
It was filled with lots of goodies!
The Easter Bunny brought one for Kai, too!
We also got to hunt for eggs in the backyard.
(Thanks, Grandma!)
You may recall that I had some practice last week.
Well, it paid off!
I found a lot of eggs!!! They were filled with coins for our piggy banks!
Hoppy Easter!
(Stay tuned for pictures of our Easter Sunday visit to the Zoo!)

Grandma W. came to Maryland to visit for the Easter Holiday.
Me and Kai are two 'hoppy' kids!
More to come...

Hey, You!

Yeah, you!
I missed you at the Cherry Blossum Festival.
(I was looking for you!)

I made the best of your absence and enjoyed the time with Mom, Dad and Kai.
Maybe next year you can be here with me.
I miss you.

I Am The Mighty Hunter

...of Eggs!!!
Today was Cambridge's Easter Egg Hunt.
I did my best, but there were all kinds of distractions!
I got a bit tangled up with my bag.
My friend, Morrigan, was cold so I hugged her up to keep warm.
(I know, tough job!)
Kai ended up being frightened of the Easter Bunny,
so I had to show him that it was okay.
(Photo op!)
While I wish I had grabbed more eggs
(They are filled with candy, don't you know!),
It was a sunny beautiful day and I had a great time.
Now that I have all this practice,
I will really burn up the lawn chasing down eggs when Easter arrives!
