3,2,1...Blast Off!

On Monday, for Dad's birthday,

we went to the National Air and Space Museum Stephen F. Udvar-Hazy Center.

There were a lot of planes and rockets there!

They were in a big hanger,

and some were even hanging from the ceiling!

They even had a space shuttle.

WOW!!!

This was my second favorite thing.

(It was the flotation device from the Apollo 11 mission.)

My very favorite thing was watching the planes, of course!

Funhouse!

On Tuesday, we went to Coco's. It is full of inflatable jumpy toys.

We had a great time riding slides and jumping in pirate ships and castles.

Later, we rode a ferry just for fun.

(We drove our car right onto it!)

I love being on the water!

I pretended that it was a little chilly,

but, it was a beautiful day!

Blackwater!

Today we went to the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge where I made lots of friends.

This is Mr. Racoon.

(He wanted to shake my hand; but, Mom said never to touch wild animals.)

I had to be careful around Mrs. Muskrat.

(I think she was falling in love with me.)

My friends in the hive were all a-buzz about my visit, too.

We also were able to watch the 'eagle cam' with two babies in their nest.

(While we were there, their mama brought them a fish to eat!)

It was in the low 60's, so it was a perfect day for being outdoors!
