A Bloomin' Good Time!

Yesterday we rode on the Metro train to Washington D.C.

We had a great family day on the mall.

It is Cherry Blossum time!

We met up with our friends the Bunje's to stroll through the trees around the tidal basin.

Adeline and I had a lot of fun goofin' around and playing in the grass.

Dad teased that we were working on our 'stump' speeches.

After spending some time reflecting,

Easter!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kai and I started off the day hunting for eggs,

and baskets, inside the house.

(Thank you, Easter Bunny!)

Then we went outside to find more eggs.

They were filled with change! ($$$$$)

We had a superfantastic Easter and we hope that you did, too!

A Visitor!

My Grandma W. came for Easter weekend.

We picked her up at the airport.

We went to Ocean City to show her the Atlantic Ocean.

We walked on the boardwalk and enjoyed the day.

We had fun just hanging around together, too.

It Worked For Me!

I am going to 'school' at home.

Mom is teaching me using 'Hooked on Phonics'.

I love learning my letters!

(So far, I know 'A', 'M' and 'T'!)

A Hard Head...

I mean, hat!

On Monday, we went to the National Building Museum

with my friend Adeline and her daddy.

We had lots of fun wearing our construction outfits.

(I really liked the safety goggles!)

It was a lot of hard work; but, we had a great time building!

This is one of my favorite places.

It's right on the waterfront and is really pretty.

I have to admit, though, that I am usually too busy to notice the scenery!

They have a lot of fun playground equipment.

I really like to climb up high now.

(Don't worry, Grandmas, Mom or Dad is always right by me!)

And I just can't pass up a good slide!
