Flyin' High!

Today Dad taught me a little bit about how to fly a plane.
He has a lot of experience,
and the results are obvious.

As you can see, I am a fast learner!

Christmas 2007!

Happy Holidays!
Kai and I hope that you had a great Christmas!
We sure did!
To prepare, we made cookies for Santa.
(I'm the holiday chef!)
On Christmas morning, I found the pickle!
That means that I got to hand out all of the presents!
Then we looked to see what Santa filled our stockings with.
Everyone gave us really nice gifts.
Thank you so much!
I used my new camera to take a lot of pictures already!
"Say Cheese!"
Here is some of my work!
One of our Christmas guests at the inn.
Mom on the phone.
Kai's Christmas bath.
Our tree!

My crab ornament.

I really enjoyed my Christmas, and I hope that you did too!
Thanks everybody!
I love and miss you all!

A Lesson In...

Reading!

I am currently working on teaching Kai to read.
Since I can't actually read words myself yet,
its good that I have the stories memorized!
(Mostly, my brother just looks at the pictures.)
We sure are having lots of fun!

Some Brief Snow in the Forecast

We got "a lot" of snow the other day and Dad took me out for a ride on our makeshift sled.
It was so much fun!
The snow is all gone now and it is supposed to be 60 degrees on Monday.
Time for shorts!

On Saturday, we went to the Cambridge Christmas Parade!

Leggy Ladies!
Big Balloon Animals!
I had the best seat in the house!

A T-riffic Time!

Thursday, on a whim, we went to the Natural History (of dinosaurs) Museum in Washington D.C.
We saw lots of dinosaurs
and some mammals, too!

T-Day 2007!

For Thanksgiving we visited our friends in Washington D.C.
Adeline and I walked to the park while the food was cooking.
We played in the sandbox.
I also played a little football with Theo, a boy I met at the park.
Finally, it was time for dinner.
I was really hungry!
This is Adeline's daddy, Paul, and the turkey he made for us.
(It was yummy!)
After lots of gobble, gobbling we played babies, backpacks and purses!
At the end of the day, it was good to take a nice bath.
We spent the night with our friends and went to the zoo the next day.
It was a little chilly, but we had fun looking at some animals.
I really loved the Pandas!
I had a great Thanksgiving and I hope that you did too!

Oh Say Can You Sea!

For Mom's birthday, we drove to Ocean City, MD.
It was cold!
It was my first time seeing the Atlantic.
It was also the first time that I saw a car quite like this!
The boardwalk looks like it could be a lot of fun...
in the summer!
I am excited to come back here when it is warm!

Backblogged - part 2

I have to say that I 'dug right in' on my first day in Maryland!
I went straight for Dad's clubs and found a good spot in the front yard
to start practicing my golf swing.
That lasted about 5 minutes, so I moved on to a bike ride in the drive
followed by a kick of the ball in the backyard
Soon enough, my dear friend Adeline arrived
(whom I had never met in person) and we had a great time!
I think she is a fabulous girl and fun to play with too!

Backblogged: part one - Minnesota

Where do I begin?!?
Let me try to catch you up on all the goings on since I last wrote!
As you know, we have moved to Cambridge, Maryland, but...
Before we could leave the midwest, we had lots to do!
Of course we packed and cleaned, but we also...
met our friends, the Whitesides, at the Children's Museum for some play time.
Zachary and I played golf,
and rocked out.
Mom, Kai and I spent a couple of days in Wisconsin before we left. (Dad was busy driving a big truck with all of our stuff across the country!)
I got to hang out with my family.
This is my cousin Kyle and I working on our fruit juice campaign!
We flew in this plane from Eau Claire, WI to Minneapolis, then on to Washington D.C.
They all came to the airport to see us off! (I love you guys!)

Thanks to everyone who helped us with our move! I miss you all already!
